Magnolia Healthtea Falvored Tea Drink. Low Calorie. Apple and Lemon flavor. Very very affordable!
Since i’m on semi-starvation mode (coz im eating quite a lot every 12 hours or so), instead of drinking heaps of water, i changed the regimen to bottles and bottles of Magnolia Healthtea. It’s a new product. The Magnolia Healthtea Falvored Tea Drink is so LOW on CALORIE! I already tried the Apple and Lemon flavor. Imagine, 250mL of tea and only about 60 calories! Beat that! And it only costs around P20 in 7-11! I’ve been drinking this instead of eating. It helps, really. Well right now i feel kinda sick since maybe im intaking too much sugar. And i came from a diabetic family on my mother’s side so i guess that doesn’t really help. I have to take a new beverage alternative. One that doesn’t have sugar in it but flavored and healthy. As long as it’s flavored. I don’t wanna gulp waters no more. I am NOT a fish.

anything man made is not ALL good, whether it is on liquid or capsule or just
anything man made. Though they claim it healthy and good still water is the best. pure water is enough to quench thirst and aids eliminating toxins in the body by flushing it inside out through sweat, urine and stool. Still, don’t forget water, damage of kidney is dangerous. Sigh.

Acesulfame potassium - - Unlike aspartame, acesulfame K is stable under heat, even under moderately acidic or basic conditions, allowing it to be used in baking, or in products that require a long shelf life. In carbonated drinks, it is almost always used in conjunction with another sweetener, such as aspartame or sucralose.
As with aspartame, saccharin, sucralose, and other sweeteners that are sweeter than common sugars, there is concern over the safety of acesulfame potassium. Although studies of these sweeteners show varying and controversial degrees of dietary safety, the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has approved these for use as general-purpose sweetening agents. Critics of the use of acesulfame potassium say the chemical has not been studied adequately and may be carcinogenic, although these claims have been dismissed by the USFDA[4] and by equivalent authorities in the European Union.

Neotame is an artificial sweetener made by NutraSweet that is between 8,000 and 13,000 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar). Neotame is moderately heat stable and extremely potent, and is considered to be of no danger to those suffering from phenylketonuria, as it does not metabolize into phenylalanine.[1] The product is rapidly metabolized, completely eliminated, and does not accumulate in the body.[2] The major metabolic pathway is hydrolysis of the methyl ester by esterases that are present throughout the body, which yields de-esterified neotame and methanol.
Because only trace amounts of neotame are needed to sweeten foods, the amount of methanol derived from neotame is much lower than that found in common foods, such as fruit and vegetable juices.
The product is attractive to food manufacturers as its use greatly lowers the cost of production compared to using sugar or high fructose corn syrup[3] while also benefitting the consumer by providing fewer “empty” sugar calories and a lower impact on blood sugar.
