After a poor and cheap low-life jerk snatched our camera from inside our car a few weeks back, we decided that it’s time to get another. A better one.

I did heaps of research before coming to the conclusion that the best camera for me is the Canon PowerShot A720 IS. Hours of internet comparison and a lot of camera testing occurred. The poor sales lady waited and waited as I tried taking pictures of myself using all different cameras just to know how nice the qualities would turn out.

There’s image stability, saturation is great, I look good even in my worst angle and so on. I’m new to the AA Battery system though. We bought a rechargeable AA battery for the camera but it seems like after 5 hours of nonstop use, we had to recharge it again… for 28 HOURS.

Can’t really tell now if it’s super worth it cause I haven’t really used it that much yet.

Had another drinking session with my friends yesterday. A few Beers, Long Islands and Weng-Wengs and we’re ready to go - to heaven! Nah! Kidding. I have lots to do first before I die. Going back, It wasn’t that late yet so we decided not to go home and purchase our ultimate favorite Artic Strawberry Vodka. Price is around Php 695. Bought a few plastic cups, chips, Gatorade (for the aftermath) and Sprite in the nearby grocery, which was surprisingly open during that time at around 10:30 PM.

  

We picked up our other friend who was in the vicinity as well then headed off to our favorite drinking spot, the swing in a village near our place.

Artic Strawberry Vodka plus Sprite is like… social drinking minus the cheapness and craziness. This is probably the best Vodka around. Of course, nothing trumps Vodka Ice and Vodka Cruiser as my usual, but for spontaneous occasions as such, the greatest alternative is the Artic concoction.

How do we make this Strawberry Vodka? Simple. Ice, 1/6 Artic and 5/6 Sprite. Do the estimate if this doesn’t work out for you. The mixture may sound weak but it’s a traitor indeed! This is classy and social drinking, one where you want to be able to interact with sensible topics as you sip and not go ballistic, jumping around and laughing your asses off.

I highly recommend Artic Strawberry Vodka! It’s the best thing since sliced bread!

Lately i’ve been going a lot to The New and Improved Embassy Superclub. I really like Embassy over the other clubs here in the Philippines. First of all, the entrance fee filters the crowd, giving you security all night. I don’t really know the rates right now since i’ve been so blessed and never had to pay *laughs*, but from what i’ve heard I think it’s around Php500 or Php600? Also from what I know girls and guys have different rates. I don’t really know so don’t trust me on this. Next, the location is great. It has other establishments nearby. Plus, there’s always parking (not unless it’s a packed Saturday night and there’s a major event).

The New Embassy Super Club is so much bigger that the one before. According to my friend, they’re renovating the old Embassy to expand the clubbing experience. I can’t believe that even if the place is so much larger and more spacious, it still gets a little too overcrowded. It doesn’t bother me though since the air condition does its work very well. And clubbing is supposed to be a social thing so body contact isn’t bad.

Cons? The only thing I miss is the VIP and VVIP Room which gives you exclusivity. The New Emba is like… a combined version of the three rooms, only that it’s separated by some bouncers and an elevated floor.

I went to the Steve Aoki event last Wednesday. It was GREAT!! 

I also love the “We are all Ambassadors” thing. Haven’t had the opportunity to take pictures there though coz the spotlights are always blinding me.

Yesterday was the first time i’ve actually been INSIDE Warehouse 135. My friend had an open bar event and another friend invited me to with him. I was almost like, no thanks, i don’t wanna pay for entrance fee. But then he told me that I was guestlisted, so what the heck, I have nothing to lose. I asked for permission then I was off.
Going there was a bit… crazy. Warehouse 135 is located at 135 Yakal Street, Makati City, Philippines. Yakal Street isn’t really that car-friendly. It’s one way. We had to circle around dark and scary places before we “accidentally” got there. Took us about 30 minutes just looking for the place.

I got an article by Thera Bakunawa of Circuit Mag regarding Warehouse 135 and here’s what she’s got to say:

True enough, I think the location of Warehouse 135 is indeed very modern. Unlike all the other bars in Manila that crowd together in one area, Warehouse135 chose to have its unique area just like the clubs in New York.

The Music was Great. Although the crowd was a bit so-so. They don’t offer Vodka Ice or Vodka Cruiser, which is what I usally get, so I had to stick with my next resort which was Weng-Weng. Their weng-weng is superb. It’s sweet but it has that kick! The lighting was.. errr. a bit too much. A darker place would’ve been better. You know how people are, the darker the place, the more confident they get.

It was too late to contact my friends who can VIP me so I wasn’t able to check out the VIP Section, which was located upstairs. Nobody was dancing there so I guess it’s more of a chill-place.

So there. They started the Galvanic Spa facial. They only applied to half of the face for comparison. They used different creams then used this small complicated-looking facial massage thing that does something. Hahaha. I really have no idea what it’s called. It’s like a small face massager but it releases some kind of energy that’s supposed to remove the toxins from the skin.

Fast forward. Looking at my mom and aunt, I was like… “Ma! Your wrinkles are gone!” The changes were so drastic that I was super impressed. I looked at my aunt and her skin was like so smooth and supple. My mom had this problem-wrinkle between her eyebrows, and poof, I can’t even find them! During that time, their skin looks better than mine and i’m only 20! I was like, If i want to age gracefully without fine-lines and impurities, I surely have to add the Galvanic Spa to my budget!!! I need to order one pronto! My budget is so tight, i’m spending on products too much. Living in a tropical country such as here, The Philippines, is sucking the glow off of my skin. Damn. I’d love to show a before and after result but privacy is a must.

I found this LG VX8500 Chocolate Phone from Amazon when I was looking for good phones to buy. So I was wondering, why the hell is it a “Chocolate Phone”? Is in even edible to start with? What characteristic of it is comparable to a chocolate? The color? No?Here are some details I found about this LG Chocolate Cell Phone:

I finally can start blogging about the Nu Skin Products that i’ve been trying out lately. Of course i’d still be blogging about the other not- so-essential products that I use, but for now, since this product is so effective and I really love it, I have to prioritize it and share this new found treasure to the world!!!

Epoch Shampoo and Light Conditioner! My ultimate favorite shampoo - to date. I cannot believe I found this product only a week ago. Why haven’t I been using this since birth? This Epoch Shampoo makes my hair so soft and non-greasy. It gives me that after-relax/rebond-feel. Being a guy with an average length hair, I try to maintain a clean-look. Given that I’m such a sweat machine, my hair always turns out to be an oil factory in the afternoon dripping down the oil to my face, creating SEBUM and.. yes… pimples.

Overall, this Epoch Ava Puhi Moni Shampoo and Light Conditioner (yes, it has a very long name which i don’t recommend since it will not have market retention) is heaven-sent and it would be a disaster if they would stop creating such fine serum for perfect-hair.

I have no idea of the relation of this Epoch brand to Nu Skin but it seems like they’re affiliates or sister company. Nu Skin is more for the skin, Epoch for the hair? I think? I’m not sure. Anyway, they also have this Pharmanex which has the best vitamins and supplements. I haven’t tried but i’m planning to start tonight so I can blog about it in a few weeks.

Nu Skin Philippines isn’t new to me. I’ve been invited to join Nu Skin here in the Philippines a couple of years ago. Sadly, I declined the offer. I was skeptical. It was the peak of controversies and havoc among marketing or pyramiding-schemed businesses and corporations. So why did I use the adjective “sadly”? Mainly because I know some people who made money and who’re still making money because of their Nu Skin business. Too bad I turned down an opportunity.

Anyway, enough dwelling in the past. I recently tried different hygiene products by Nu Skin. Shampoo, conditioner, facial wash, mud facial masks and other stuff. What can I say about them? Terrific! The products are really good. I specially love the Nu Skin shampoo! It doesn’t make my hair greasy at all! NEVER. And the facial scrub with small rounded beads glide on my skin, unlike that St. Ives Apricot Scrub that pierces through my skin, makes me red, and makes my skin really sensitive after!

Nu Skin products are really really good. I learned from my friend that they were great because they have the best research team working in developing the products. I will keep trying their stuff and blog about all the specific products and my reviews.
