Cashmere Mafia - The show that’s supposed to be the next Sex and the City. Well, compared to Sex and the City, I think that they’re being too commercialized. Why so? You should watch and see for yourself the advertisement-like atmosphere of the whole show. It’s like everything screams of expensive brand and high class fashion.
So what’s the story about? Just like Sex and the City, it’s about their lives as successful women driven by power, wealth and hmm… of course, men. First episode introduced their careers, giving people the insight of how SUCCESSFUL they are. COO.. VP… blah blah blah.
So why Cashmere Mafia? I don’t know. They tried to explain it before the show ended but it was too vague. Overall, I don’t think it’s gonna be as good. But maybe because i’m comparing it to Sex and the City which is a legend. Well compared to Days of Our Lives I think it rocks. Hahahha. Anyway, just go watch it or if you live in a country where such shows don’t reach your cable, just download it.
