I’ve been working in the real estate field for so long but I really don’t know how much an average house costs.

In my opinion, based on the clients I met, houses worth below P1,000,000 are low-cost housing and these are the ones being availed by minimum wage employees or those purchasing properties with the help of government financing or other financing institutions.

Those that cost P1M - P3M are normally found in good subdivisions or villages. These are what I consider properties for the average Filipino with income ranging from P30,000-P50,000. I based this on the monthly income requirement of banks.

P3M and above belong to the above average and wealthy class. I know a lot of people can afford that but mind you, it’s not everyday that I get a client asking me where they can purchase houses worth P3M. Based on the ratio of the inquiries I get, about only 5% of them are from people asking for expensive properties or investments. Most people inquire regarding houses, townhouses and low-cost houses that can be bought through Pag-Ibig Financing (a local financing institution catering to the needs of the average Filipino citizens).

DETROIT (Reuters) - Ford Motor Co (F.N) posted a narrower-than-expected quarterly loss on Thursday and said it was nearing a deal to spin off British luxury brands Jaguar and Land Rover.

Shares of Ford rose almost 5 percent in pre-market trading.

Ford said it expects to conclude a deal to sell Jaguar and Land Rover by early next year. By contrast, it said it would focus on improving results at its Swedish Volvo unit and start detailing the brand’s financial performance next year.

Ford also forecast a “substantial” year-over-year improvement in fourth-quarter results compared with last year’s pre-tax loss of $3.15 billion.

The Dearborn, Michigan-based automaker posted a third-quarter net loss of $380 million, or 19 cents per share, compared with a loss of $5.2 billion, or $2.79 a share, a year earlier.

Ford’s loss from continuing operations, excluding one-time items, was 1 cent per share. On that basis, the average Wall Street forecast was a loss of 48 cents per share, according to Reuters Estimates.

Ford said it cut 6,800 jobs in North America during the quarter.

I had no idea about this 2007 Retro Ball at the Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club event. It was scheduled yesterday, October 9. I saw it posted somewhere then I realized that it would’ve been fun joining a Retro Ball. Dressing up is nice every once in a while. That Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club isn’t that far either. It would’ve been really nice to have pictures there.

The 2007 Retro Ball is actually one of those dual purpose events where you get to have fun and at the same time you get to help the needy. As described by the organizers “The 2007 Retro Ball will help raise funds for the Gawad Kalinga project of Couples for Christ and Christ the King Parish, so while you’re doing the hustle, you’re creating positive change!“. How very philanthropic of them. Too bad it’s too late. That Retro Ball could’ve been a once a year event or maybe a once in a lifetime chance. If I grow up and become so materially-abundant, I will do events like this too! I hope I remember this blog one day and realize that I said on this date that I will do something philanthropic someday, somehow.

I have been experimenting on SEO for Material Boy to earn a few bucks this vacation. I have other experimental sites too working their way up in the search engine ladder. A few days ago Material Boy, my site, ranked top 8 in the search for Material Boy in Google. Although some of the posts didn’t index as fast, I had very high hopes considering that since the main index site of Material Boy ranked high on Google, it will then let the spiders crawl further into my blog.

Everything changed when I used google sitemap. I installed a sitemap script for Material Boy, thinking that it would boost the SEO of the site. I then registered the site to Google Sitemaps then added the sitemap. A day later, I found that Material Boy was not even indexed in Google anymore. Instead of being a Search Engine Optimization agent, it totally removed my site index page from Google. I decided that this wasn’t a good idea, so i automatically removed Material Boy from sitemaps and deleted every trace of it.

Next day, my site was once again in the first page of “Material Boy” search page in Google. Not only was it in the 8th, but it went up to 6th. Material Boy was already ranked 6th on Google even if it only was its 3rd day.

I gave sitemap another chance to SEO my blog. To my dismay, the same incident occured. I removed it again from sitemap, but voila… until now, Material Boy is nowhere to be found in Google Search. The problem is, not only did it affect the experimental blog, it also caused the other sites within the domain to decrease its ranking.

I was looking for a quick fix, but what i got was a whooping SEO disaster.

Since i’m guessing that Material Boy’s Google Search issue is gonna be problematic for a longer time, i took the opportunity to change the blog template. Only to find out that the template i used wasn’t recommended for money-making blogs. It wasn’t optimized for indexing. Oh well, at least the site looks good.

I owe my sister a gift for her birthdays a month ago and i still haven’t been able to buy her one so i was spotting for what she’s been telling me to buy, Mineral Make up. So i was looking and i narrowed down my search to either Monave or Bare Escentuals. Instead of choosing which one, i opted to get different stuff from the two to increase variety.

My hair wishlist. L`Oreal, Beach Hut and Bed Head

Another one of my magazine craze. I saw this “Highly Recommended” page and i want them too.

1. Loreal Professionel Dermo-Calm Shampoo - It’s like a moisturizer for your scalp and it costs about $10. Well i need that.. but in this country it might make my hair greasy all the time. Still worth a try tho.
2. Loreal Remix - Oh i love this. I really do. It’s so easy to use and it’s not super sticky unlike all the other hair stuff. Costs around $10.
3. Bed Head Hookup - Gives volume… described as a help for the thinning hair or bad haircut. This may be my new bestfriend since i’m so balding and i’m only 20! $30… kinda expensive really. I don’t spend this much on one hair care product alone.
4. Beach Hut Hair and Scalp sunblock - Ok maybe i wouldn’t really need this since it’s been raining so hard for the past few months. It’s the rainy season once again. But what IF ir gets so hot and i realize that i wanna go to the beach… school break is just around the corner. 20 days? 10 days? Who’s counting…

It’s raining outside. I wanna sleep. I wanna spend the day indoors, but there are so many things to do.

Nokia N93i! I want this phone ASAP! 3.15MP is better than 1.3MP!

Aww… My 1.3MP (MEGAPIXEL-extent of zoom) phone isnt doing my face justice. I want a better phone with higher MP. Although, it’s kinda good since a bigger megapixel will ABSOLUTELY ZOOM itself towards my PORES. Who would wanna see that!? Also i want one with better features… plus add the fact that i want one that looks BETTER than my current phone.

What’s important:

1. Organizer/Calendar
2. Call/SMS
3. Camera!
4. Unlimited phone entries
5. 3g!
6. Long battery time! So important!
7. Large memory.. doesnt matter much since i can buy memory cards
8. Affordable!!!

That’s about it! I need higher mega pixels. Nokia is the phone for me. I tried Motorola and it’s just not doing that great. well it doesnt have some features like my nokia does like group text for example. It has a bigger font tho. So if you’re blind or if you have an eye problem like you’re near or far sighted, that will surely help.

Well i was never a fan of Samsung so i can’t say anything about it. My mom’s phones are all like Samsung and Nokia. i Forgot what my phone model is… i think it’s 6500? is there one? or 6800? but i also have the thin Motorola for my other network use. Easy on the pocket!

Nokia is kinda bulky… most of its models are… well maybe it packs a lot of those features. Can’t they invent smaller chips! We are in the age of MICROCHIPS btw.

I think the local price is around $400… i have to wait for it to become around $200 or so… so i can trade-in my phone. I don’t wanna spend much on a new one. I just bought 1 month ago…

I want this one… how much is this anyway? No.. don’t tell me. It is so unrealistic for me to afford this at such an early age tho. There are sooo manyy trials, problems and stress that i have to encounter before i step on the gas of that thing.

The Jaguar Site is so fancy that it takes a while to load and i got tired of waiting.

For the price of this car, it’s probably made of pure silver or whatever the material used is. It has that vintage look. The grills. The way it runs so fast with the air bending to make way. I’m inlove. But seriously, the interior and exterior of this car is THE IT!

I’ve been seeing lots of Jaguars lately around our school… maybe people are starting to get richer… or maybe the price lowered… or maybe… they’re smuggled? Hahaha.. i don’t know and i don’t wanna get involved. I’ll save that to a political post.. that’s if i’m ever in the mood to make one.

Ford Escape. Not the 2008, the older one. Replace my current car. Please?

This is the latest Ford Escape 2008 i think…

I’m not a car-person and i don’t know much about cars… as long as it moves as you drive it.. and looks good outside.. and when you get out people will stare and react like.. “oh my he’s so young yet so successful”… then that’s the car i want.

I’m not into anything extravagant… i have no right to, anyway. hahaha. I wanna replace my current car with Ford Escape! i don’t like this new version… i want the old one.. i think that’s the 2006 or 2005 Ford Escape. I’m not sure… but the old one looks better. This one looks like an Ford Expedition or Ford Explorer. It looks huge and more of a family car. I want the sporty look like what i own right now.

I think it costs (the model that i like, not the new one) around P700k… the new one i think is P1M +++… i checked the showroom and i really dont like it… besides the fact that it’s out of the budget. hahaha. I want one in red or yellow. Something sporty looking. The 2008 model is so big it looks like it’s the bloated version!

hahaha.. the rest are more of engine stuff, wheels, seats, power shit… that i didnt learn in school so i cant relate.

Singapore: Orchard Road. Esplanade. National Stadium. Merlion!

So many things i wanna see in Singapore! I’ve heard lots of good things about the place! I also heard that it’s small and it’s easy to travel around… Maybe if i can save like $1000, i’ll go this vacation… a few months from now, that is.

Finally. I just wanna be anonymous. Is that a crime? Hahaha. Well who cares about who am I anyway. The important things is i’m able to tell the world what I want.

I crave for material things, but that doesn’t mean that i’m against other beliefs… so don’t go screaming nonsense at me. I also had this blog before about how I love my life.. all I got were hate messages. I must have overdone it with my annoying thoughts. Hahaha.. I’m not blogging for anyone but me, right?

I’ll post another one right after this about how i’m dying to get thinner after gaining 10 pound over the past few months.

Oh.. just some things i wanna make everyone aware of… i’m mature now unlike before. I think that’s good. Awww i’m really getting older. I turned 20 this year… TWENTEEN. hahah. yeah whatever, right? well at least i can pretend that i didn’t have my birthday so i’ll still be 19. I’ll miss my teenage years. Free from stress. The stress is killing me. I need radiant skin that’ll be the envy of the world. But i don’t have that. So i’ll just post about how i’d love to have one. Sounds pathetic. Well it is. And it doesn’t matter.
