Lately i’ve been going a lot to The New and Improved Embassy Superclub. I really like Embassy over the other clubs here in the Philippines. First of all, the entrance fee filters the crowd, giving you security all night. I don’t really know the rates right now since i’ve been so blessed and never had to pay *laughs*, but from what i’ve heard I think it’s around Php500 or Php600? Also from what I know girls and guys have different rates. I don’t really know so don’t trust me on this. Next, the location is great. It has other establishments nearby. Plus, there’s always parking (not unless it’s a packed Saturday night and there’s a major event).

The New Embassy Super Club is so much bigger that the one before. According to my friend, they’re renovating the old Embassy to expand the clubbing experience. I can’t believe that even if the place is so much larger and more spacious, it still gets a little too overcrowded. It doesn’t bother me though since the air condition does its work very well. And clubbing is supposed to be a social thing so body contact isn’t bad.

Cons? The only thing I miss is the VIP and VVIP Room which gives you exclusivity. The New Emba is like… a combined version of the three rooms, only that it’s separated by some bouncers and an elevated floor.

I went to the Steve Aoki event last Wednesday. It was GREAT!!

I also love the “We are all Ambassadors” thing. Haven’t had the opportunity to take pictures there though coz the spotlights are always blinding me.

If you’re reading this and you’re VVVVVIP there, please make me VVIP+100. I’m totally serious. Contact me at inquire@lozaph.com. I have no pride and shame at all. I will advertise if you want me to. *laughs*

Embassy Superclub is located in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Manila, Philippines

Yesterday was the first time i’ve actually been INSIDE Warehouse 135. My friend had an open bar event and another friend invited me to with him. I was almost like, no thanks, i don’t wanna pay for entrance fee. But then he told me that I was guestlisted, so what the heck, I have nothing to lose. I asked for permission then I was off.
Going there was a bit… crazy. Warehouse 135 is located at 135 Yakal Street, Makati City, Philippines. Yakal Street isn’t really that car-friendly. It’s one way. We had to circle around dark and scary places before we “accidentally” got there. Took us about 30 minutes just looking for the place.

I got an article by Thera Bakunawa of Circuit Mag regarding Warehouse 135 and here’s what she’s got to say:

“Just when you thought that Manila’s clubbing scene was bordering on comme ci comme ça, Warehouse 135 happens.

Manila’s party scene has added another place to quench the thirst for clubbing. CIRCUIT found a hole in the wall that will satisfy the need for something new. Hidden from the usual area of Makati’s party scene is a club that needs no sign. The queue of gorgeous people with their great love for dance music is the sign that it’s …THE WAREHOUSE everyone’s buzzing about.

It is the Zouk of Singapore, the Discothèque of Barcelona, the Pacha of Ibiza, DC10 of Amsterdam. Warehouse 135 is definitely making a name for Manila. Domini Primero (created BIGFISH in 1999), the club’s managing director, proudly welcomes partyphiles to the hippest and best thing that has hit the metro’s party scene.

The structure of the club is a contrast of a rugged exterior and a chic interior that’ll remind you of hip clubs abroad. A dramatic entrance with sexy black velvet curtains leads you to a lovely high ceiling that sports lighting and special effect by Martin Mac. Breathe deep now partygoers, as no less than the Eastern Acoustic Works (winner of the “Best Sound System” and “Best Sound Product” awards at the 2006 Club World Awards) booms out the club’s beats like crazy! You wouldn’t want to leave the dance floor once you hit it.

Warehouse 135 promises to give Manila real good music and none of those cheesy mainstream tunes. From everyone’s favorite progressive house to electro-clash, this is every clubbers’ paradise. All local DJs were screened & hand picked to ensure that quality dance music is to be played in the club and to take it to a higher notch; they are also bringing in world class international DJs from around the globe of different dance music genres, hopefully every single week.

Think of the meat packing district clubs in New York because strict house rules are going to be very much implemented. Selected VIP guest list, “Threesome Promo” (bring 2 girls, get in for free), and free entrance for ladies all night. As of the moment, while the club is still on soft opening mode, door charge is only PhP300 with 1 free drink, but management still has the right to refuse entry.”

True enough, I think the location of Warehouse 135 is indeed very modern. Unlike all the other bars in Manila that crowd together in one area, Warehouse135 chose to have its unique area just like the clubs in New York.

The Music was Great. Although the crowd was a bit so-so. They don’t offer Vodka Ice or Vodka Cruiser, which is what I usally get, so I had to stick with my next resort which was Weng-Weng. Their weng-weng is superb. It’s sweet but it has that kick! The lighting was.. errr. a bit too much. A darker place would’ve been better. You know how people are, the darker the place, the more confident they get.

It was too late to contact my friends who can VIP me so I wasn’t able to check out the VIP Section, which was located upstairs. Nobody was dancing there so I guess it’s more of a chill-place.

Anyway, if you’re from Warehouse 135, an owner, part-owner, VVVIP, or whatever, contact me at inquire@lozaph.com. Get me Lifetime VVIP Pass please. Seriously! I always give good reviews whenever i’m treated very highly. *laughs*

ABS-CBN’s highly rated hit show for 2007, Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Season 2, is almost done. With only a few celebrities left inside, I can’t wait to know who’ll win. Honestly there are lots of other people still inside who I think don’t even deserve to be there in the first place. But who am I to argue and judge, I don’t know them personally.

Anyway, the only way to help is through my SMS/text votes so that’s what I’m going to do.

Update: Here are the remaining celebrity housemates who still live in the house as of now ( according to Pinoy Big Brother website ):

  1. Will Devaughn
  2. Riza Santos
  3. Ruben Gonzaga
  4. Yayo Aguila
  5. Baron Geisler
  6. Gaby Dela Merced
  7. Jon Avila
  8. Ethel Booba

I wanna see their audition tapes though. I’ve been longing to see that. If anyone knows a link to the audition done here in the Philippines please do post a link. Also the lyrics of the theme song. And were there any scandals that occurred during their stay inside? Just wondering. Not that i’m interested or anything. *laughs*

I am begging everyone to please vote for those who DESERVE TO WIN. Do not vote them out of pity, poverty, looks or whatever shallowness. Vote them because you think they possess Filipino characteristics. Vote them because they make you proud that you’re a Filipino.

PBB Celebrity Edition 2 really made an impact. I can’t believe reality shows are so “in” right now. Of course there will be lots to follow like the normal PBB Season 3 and the Teen Edition Season 3. I’ll try to watch more of PBB CE2 from now on so I can relate to the issues. I wanna know who the winner will be.

These are the people who I think have the possibility of being the big night winner for season2 (not that i’m saying that i’m rooting for them),

  1. Ruben Gonzaga
  2. Gaby Dela Merced
  3. Yayo Aguila
  4. Ethel Booba

Anyway, let’s just wait and see.

I truly am AMAZED! The Galvanic Spa System is the new elixir of youth, beauty, perfection or whatever you wanna call it. The ultimate Galvanic skin care of all time!

I don’t wanna sound so commercialesque but I really try to promote the things that actually work! And i’m telling you that this Galvanic Spa really showed Results!

Here’s my story. A friend of mine went to our house and asked my mom if she wanted to test the Galvanic Spa System. It was a Sunday afternoon, a day when you’re supposed to relax and unwind after a long and stressful week of work. So my mom said yes and gave it a try. She invited my aunt who was also into the beauty stuff. My mom is in her late 40’s, her skin was actually great due to the products that she use, but of course, the battle against gravity is a never-ending war.

I wasn’t doing anything that time and being the vain person I am, I, of course, indulged myself in the so-called beauty miracle show. I have always believed in the powers of Nu Skin Products. And yes, I have been using NuSkin Products and they really showed results.

Going back to my story, before they began, they explained to us how it works. I got a summary from some website.

  • Treatments with the Galvanic Spa System Instrument lasting five minutes or more can enhance the delivery of key ingredients for up to 24 hours.
  • The Galvanic Spa System features a proprietary, patented instrument with four interchangeable conductors:
    • Face Conductor—offers all of the benefits of the original fixed face conductor, while adding the flexibility of being removable for other conductor use and other treatment applications.
    • Scalp Conductor—this comb-like conductor is easy to pull through your hair, maintaining crucial contact between the conductor and your scalp.
    • Body Conductor—three rounded nodes maximize surface area contact for wider coverage and better massaging action.
    • Spot Treatment Conductor—this conductor head utilizes a flat, smooth, oval shaped treatment node that centralizes surface contact area. This node provides better contact with the skin and helps deliver a more concentrated treatment.
  • Body Conductor—three rounded nodes maximize surface area contact for wider coverage and better massaging action.

So there. They started the Galvanic Spa facial. They only applied to half of the face for comparison. They used different creams then used this small complicated-looking facial massage thing that does something. Hahaha. I really have no idea what it’s called. It’s like a small face massager but it releases some kind of energy that’s supposed to remove the toxins from the skin.

Fast forward. Looking at my mom and aunt, I was like… “Ma! Your wrinkles are gone!” The changes were so drastic that I was super impressed. I looked at my aunt and her skin was like so smooth and supple. My mom had this problem-wrinkle between her eyebrows, and poof, I can’t even find them! During that time, their skin looks better than mine and i’m only 20! I was like, If i want to age gracefully without fine-lines and impurities, I surely have to add the Galvanic Spa to my budget!!! I need to order one pronto! My budget is so tight, i’m spending on products too much. Living in a tropical country such as here, The Philippines, is sucking the glow off of my skin. Damn. I’d love to show a before and after result but privacy is a must.

The product costs around Php 20,000 ( around $445 ). That includes everything. Due to my lack of funds, I’ll have to earn more and work harder.

If you’re from the Philippines and interested in purchasing or ordering this product, I have a friend who can do a demo of the product. She also sells them at a lower price, I think. Just e-mail me and i’ll give you her contact number: inquire@lozaph.com. Leave your cellphone numbers or e-mail here if you want. But that’s up to you. You can buy from her. I buy all my Nu Skin products from her.

By the way, it also treats hair loss. I’m actually really anxious to get one for myself. I’m balding already. I think i have less than 100 hair strands. Ok maybe 100,000. But still, I CAN SEE MY SCALP! That sucks y’know!
