Material Boy

I have been experimenting on SEO for Material Boy to earn a few bucks this vacation. I have other experimental sites too working their way up in the search engine ladder. A few days ago Material Boy, my site, ranked top 8 in the search for Material Boy in Google. Although some of the posts didn’t index as fast, I had very high hopes considering that since the main index site of Material Boy ranked high on Google, it will then let the spiders crawl further into my blog.

Everything changed when I used google sitemap. I installed a sitemap script for Material Boy, thinking that it would boost the SEO of the site. I then registered the site to Google Sitemaps then added the sitemap. A day later, I found that Material Boy was not even indexed in Google anymore. Instead of being a Search Engine Optimization agent, it totally removed my site index page from Google. I decided that this wasn’t a good idea, so i automatically removed Material Boy from sitemaps and deleted every trace of it.

Next day, my site was once again in the first page of “Material Boy” search page in Google. Not only was it in the 8th, but it went up to 6th. Material Boy was already ranked 6th on Google even if it only was its 3rd day.

I gave sitemap another chance to SEO my blog. To my dismay, the same incident occured. I removed it again from sitemap, but voila… until now, Material Boy is nowhere to be found in Google Search. The problem is, not only did it affect the experimental blog, it also caused the other sites within the domain to decrease its ranking.

I was looking for a quick fix, but what i got was a whooping SEO disaster.

Since i’m guessing that Material Boy’s Google Search issue is gonna be problematic for a longer time, i took the opportunity to change the blog template. Only to find out that the template i used wasn’t recommended for money-making blogs. It wasn’t optimized for indexing. Oh well, at least the site looks good.

I’ve been blogging in this new site for almost 3 days now. And the last time google indexed my site was more than a day ago. This is not supposed to be this way. I transferred since i thought that it would index so much faster. And by fast, i mean less than an hour after posts. I’m quite devastated about this unfortunate event.

Let me give google a few more days. If not, i’m gonna have to increase my efforts with $$$. Hahaha.

As of this very very very very moment, i’m trying out wordpress. I just transferred from blogspot to my own domain and i’m using a blog powered by wordpress. Anyway i’m doing this so i can have my own domain name. This domain is only temporary. It doesn’t matter anyway since i’m the only one reading so no one would really care except those spiders from Google and Yahoo. Hehehe.

I have to get my own domain name soon. This one’s kinda crappy considering that i’m on a /blog. Domain registration is such a hassle, but since i’ve done it before, i think i can manage. I need strength. Hahaha.

I wanna be just like Mr. Burns of Simpsons. RICHER. hehehe. Minus the ugliness and sad life of course. He owns almost half (or even more) of Springfield. I mean, given the chance to become a character in Simpsons, in no time, i’ll shout his name.

Another one of my Simpsons post after watching a few episode. I feel sick today. This starvation diet isn’t going really well… i feel weak and fatigued. I have runny nose and i sound like crap with a towel stuffed in my mouth. I’m not stressing anymore since the worst is over. My presentation turned out fine. I hope the result will have the same say. Hehehe.

Time travels so fast when i’m busy (and i need so much more time for a deadline). It’s already 2am and i’m still trying to finish my Business Plan.

Sunday should be rest day (well that’s according to my religion.. and i shouldn’t be talking about religion). But what the hell am i doing up this late? Every Sunday, i just wish that all the tasks in the world would miraculously be accomplished, while everybody’s partying, or well maybe at least sleeping.

I just wanna hang out somewhere. In the mall maybe. When was the last time i went to the mall to hang out? I’ve been going to malls to buy important stuff for school or work.

Real Estate Business is such a dog-eat-dog world. I know i have a place in there somewhere. I just have to learn to bark and bite harder. Concentrate. Focus.

I need that Liption Iced Tea thing that they’re trying market. It helps keep you focused - according to the ad. It will get you “in the zone”. hahaha. I’ll go check if we have first then i’m going back to my business plan once again. I’ll give a feedback if it works.

I didn’t know Human Resource Management in a business will require so much time of my life and give me so much stress. I’m still 20! I still wanna live my life to the fullest. Living a life off stress is far from being life’s fullest. Not unless fullest means FULL OF CRAP!

Today’s Events: Embassy Superclub, Fort. Astringosol Party, Warehouse. Worldmusic, Promenade.

I’m supposed to be resting but i’m stressing. I don’t know where i should go and what even i should prioritize. Our school has this annual event and it’s gonna be held at Embassy, Fort. Another one’s for my org… an event sponsored by a mouthwash thing. Astringosol Extreme! Hehehe. I think it’s some school’s turn right now. I’m guessing CSB? Our school’s event for Astringosol will be next week, so i doubt that today’s event is also ours.

I also have to go to World Music in Promenade, Greenhills. I have to spend time with my friends. I love world music… you can sing sing and sing all you want. The place is so nice and the ambiance is good. Quite pricey but the money is consumable anyway, i mean for the food and booze and other drinks. You get to have your own room depending on the size of your crowd. Well personally i find the rooms really small compared to what i see on Korean Shows whenever they go to Karaoke houses. ANNDD I Also need to go to Fort Global City to eat with the company employees. Still thinking if we should go to Pier One or wherever else. Oh i can’t wait for the break. I’m gonna die from all this… it’s killing me.

I haven’t even started with my presentation this Tuesday! Business Plan once again!

How i hate this theme. I’m supposed to be writing about how i wanna get leaner because i’m BIG BERTHA in the flesh and my tummy is slowly crawling its way out of my shirt as I type… but to my dismay as i viewed my blog…

Just awful! I thought it’s only my belly that’s big… the font too is ENORMOUSLY out of proportion! OMFG! I know this Blogpost or Blogger thing is free… but.. but… you know.. i need customer satisfaction! Hehehe. Well ok maybe i’m just too lazy to figure out the problem right now.. or maybe i’m not… i just don’t know how.

I want the Andreas02 or Andreas04 or Andreas08 theme. I forgot the name of this theme. I think it has the stretch denim denim something (which i actually don’t get why they call it denim coz it’s NOT anywhere near the color of my denim pants). But that one seems to be having problems… i wish i learned HTML Or XML or something-ML when i was younger.. well yeah actually I did learn from blogging from different blogs liek Tabulas and Wordpress… but still today in this advanced world where there are words that you can’t even pronounce like HTTP or WWW, things like html or flash are difficult to learn.

College is indeed sucking the fun out of me.

Oh anyway. There’s no use getting annoyed. I might as well get something done.

Finally. I just wanna be anonymous. Is that a crime? Hahaha. Well who cares about who am I anyway. The important things is i’m able to tell the world what I want.

I crave for material things, but that doesn’t mean that i’m against other beliefs… so don’t go screaming nonsense at me. I also had this blog before about how I love my life.. all I got were hate messages. I must have overdone it with my annoying thoughts. Hahaha.. I’m not blogging for anyone but me, right?

What will I write about?

   • Travel: I wanna get out of this country…! I’ve been to most of the places here in the Philippines but I wanna see the outside world. I wanna see cultures and appreciate them and of course spend spend spend. Asia… Europe… whatever else is out there.. I wanna go go go. Seriously.
   • Goals: I have lots of goals but sometimes i feel that i’m too lazy to even start. I need motivation. MOTIVATION PLEASE!
   • a lot more.. i just can’t think of them right now cause i didn’t have enough sleep last night.

I’ll post another one right after this about how i’m dying to get thinner after gaining 10 pound over the past few months.

Oh.. just some things i wanna make everyone aware of… i’m mature now unlike before. I think that’s good. Awww i’m really getting older. I turned 20 this year… TWENTEEN. hahah. yeah whatever, right? well at least i can pretend that i didn’t have my birthday so i’ll still be 19. I’ll miss my teenage years. Free from stress. The stress is killing me. I need radiant skin that’ll be the envy of the world. But i don’t have that. So i’ll just post about how i’d love to have one. Sounds pathetic. Well it is. And it doesn’t matter.
